Re: [Echobase-devel] Finalisation EchoBase Atlantos
Hello Ok c'est noté. Reviens vers moi à ton retour, on regardera ensemble. Julien Le Wed, 25 Oct 2017 18:50:10 +0200, Mathieu Doray <mathieu.doray@ifremer.fr> a écrit :
Salut Julien,
Mathieu

Dear Mathieu,
Happy New Year – hope you have made it into the new year in good shape J
FYI We have experienced a few misinterpretation from some of the other groups when trying to make sense out of the current acoustic biotic format.
Therefore we have been forced to make the following changes to the format.
1.CatchSampleNumber has been replaced with CatchSpeciesCategory and will be mandatory both within the Catch and Biology records.
2.CatchCategoryWeight has been removed from the Catch records.
3.CatchSpeciesTotalWeight has been renamed to CatchSpeciesCategoryWeight.
4.CatchSpeciesTotalNumber has been renamed to CatchSpeciesCategoryNumber.
5.BiologyIndividualLength has been renamed to BiologyLengthClass.
As the changes primarily are related to rename of some of the biology fields, it shouldn’t make any major issues for you. The biggest change is that we apart from removing the CatchCategoryWeight, also have removed the CatchSampleNumber and replace that field with the original CatchSpeciesCategory which conceptually is the same and is mandatory both in the catch and biology records and should default to 1 if no categories are being used. The CatchSampleNumber simply created to many misunderstandings.
The next time you upload biotic files, please use the ‘new’ format which as always is described using the following link:
http://www.ices.dk/marine-data/Documents/Acoustic/ICES_Acoustic_data_format_...
We have already taken care of ‘transforming’ your current data within the acoustic database for you.
Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Hjalte
P.S. If you like a good example, you can just download you own biotic data file from data within database through the data portal.
